USGS HAZUS-MH Data Extractor

USGS has developed the HAZUS-MH Data Extractor tool to extract data from HAZUS-MH generated data sources, which include SQL Server databases and associated ESRI-based geo-databases. HAZUS-MH is an application developed by FEMA for estimating damages and losses from earthquakes, floods, and hurricanes. The HAZUS-MH Data Extractor tool only supports the extraction of earthquake and flood data. Data can be extracted by category, including general building stock inventory, general building stock damages and economic losses, social impact (i.e., casualties and shelter requirements), and induced damages (i.e., debris and fire). Additionally, a filter can be applied to select data based on specified selection criteria. Extracted data are available in both spatial and non-spatial forms and exported to an ESRI geo-database.
